Marketing & Content Assistant/ Manager
We are looking for a passionate Marketing and Content Assistant (or Manager depending on experience) to join the team. This role reports to the CEO and will work closely with the whole team.
This is the perfect role for someone who is very, very passionate about Snuggle Hunny, baby products, marketing, content and inspiring customers. You will need to be proactive and a self starter as every day is varied.
This role is for someone who is super organised and has solid experience and a role in another company in content/ marketing and wants to put their skills to the test and expand their remit with Snuggle Hunny. You will be comfortable approaching all areas of marketing with drive and passion.
A big part of your role will be researching, planning and creating content. This could be BTS at a photoshoot or content in the office or content wth product. We're looking for someone who is very proactive in this area and an ideas person. If you're 'bugging' the team to shoot content that's a win! You're the kind of person who sees content in everything they do. You'd also be expected to load this content to the various channels including Pinterest and YouTube.
Part of your role will also include managing the admin around photoshoots, events and campaigns. You will be the sort of person who thrives on planning and executing and getting things done.
There will be other marketing duties which you will need to do as they arise.
This role is based at our office in Rouse Hill - it is not remote. We are open to part time hours for this role but it's ideally 4+ days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Content planning and strategy with the CEO
- Shooting content and BTS and load to social media channels
- Create trending content for TikTok, Instagram stories and reels, working alongside the community coordinator
- Work with the team to organise and execute in-person and online events
- Support photoshoots
- Create content on Canva as needed
- Manage our Pinterest account including loading new content and keeping it fresh
- Manage our YouTube Channel including loading new content and keeping it fresh
- Analyse how the content is performing
- Assist with collection and promotional launches and work entailed
- Other ad hoc marketing as required
Experience and Skills
- Hands on can-do attitude
- Innovative and thinks outside the box
- Obsessive attention to detail
- Very organised and enjoys being process driven
- Strong prioritisation and time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Content creation planning and execution
- Social media experience
- Experience with YouTube, Pinterest
- Proven experience in a marketing role
- Proven experience managing events and campaigns
- Experience with Canva
- Ideally Ecommerce/ retail experience
- A passion for brand and values
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
